BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Lost River Cave is hosting multiple fall-themed events throughout the month of October.

The first event taking place is the 14th annual Scarecrow Trail, which starts this Saturday, October 4th.

There will be 95 scarecrow displays, created by local businesses, for people to see while walking on the trail.

Director of Marketing at Lost River Cave Nicole Coomer says the businesses enjoy and look forward to creating their displays each year.

“We have a lot of returning builders. We have a lot of first-time builders this year, too. But once people do it, they love it and they come back,” she explained. ”That’s what really makes the event what it is, their passion and their competitiveness to be the best."
