EUGENE, Ore. – Emergency personnel responded at about 2 p.m. on Oct. 3 to a two-vehicle crash at West 13th Avenue and Polk Street, according to Eugene Springfield Fire officials.
ESF authorities said that one of the vehicle struck a light pole which affected the traffic signal. The vehicle’s driver required heavy extrication and was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, fire officials said.
Motorists should expect traffic delays in the area, ESF officials said.
