AUGUSTA, Maine — Gov. Janet Mills said she's not concerned about election interference after 250 Maine ballots were allegedly delivered to a Newburgh resident.

The Maine Wire reported a woman expecting an Amazon package opened the box and found five bundles of Maine state ballots . The report has received widespread attention online and among Republican lawmakers who've called for a federal investigation.

State Secretary Shenna Bellows said her office is investigating the incident.

Mills told NEWS CENTER Maine on Friday that she is not worried about election security.
