Residents in the Broomfield and Westminster areas were without power Friday night, according to an Xcel Energy outage map.

The outage began around 7 p.m. Friday, and Xcel estimates power to be restored by 8:30 p.m., according to the outage map webpage.

The outage map said more than a thousand customers were impacted.
