Bunnings Warehouse is pushing ahead with plans to build a new store in Maddington, more than five years after State officials gave the project the go-ahead.
A minor amendment has recently been made to the development application, which was considered and approved by the Metro East Joint Development Assessment Panel in January 2020.
Speaking to PerthNow, Bunnings director of stores Garry James confirmed the new store would replace the existing Maddington location, which has been operating near the Kenwick Link since the mid-1990s.
“We recently submitted a minor amendment to our development application for a new Bunnings store in Maddington, which will replace our current store,” Mr James said.
