HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Drivers are advised to prepare for lane closures and possible traffic delays on Kapiolani Boulevard due to ongoing road improvements.

Crews will be installing vehicle loop detectors, striping, and pavement markers at the Kalakaua Avenue intersection, said city officials.

Work is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 6, through Wednesday, Oct. 8, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Additional overnight construction is scheduled along Kapiolani Boulevard from Harding Avenue to Atkinson Drive:

Monday, Oct. 13, through Thursday, Oct. 16

Monday, Oct. 20, through Thursday, Oct. 23

Construction is scheduled between 7 p.m. and 3:30 a.m.

No weekend work is scheduled.
