Greggs is bringing back a much-missed feature to all 2,600 bakeries. Greggs has launched a new autumn menu including the return of a beloved festive treat: the sweet mince pies.

The festive treat will be available at all 2,600 bakeries across the country including Birmingham . Greggs said: "There’s a lot of things us Brits are proud to call our own. But let’s be honest, the Sweet Mince Pie is definitely up there with one of the best.

"A delicious, sweet treat with a noble English origin, nothing marks the start of the festive season quite like a Sweet Mince Pie. Made from crumbly shortcrust pastry, filled with a sweet mincemeat made from vine fruits, Bramley apple, candied orange and lemon peel, and perfectly finished with a light dusting of icing sugar.
