NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — New video shows the moment an unexpected good Samaritan came to the rescue during a recent car fire in Newport News.
10 On Your Side spoke to Nathaniel Snider, who said he was on his way back from his lunch break Thursday afternoon when he got caught at the Warwick Boulevard and Colony Road traffic light. That's when he noticed traffic was more backed up than usual.
"I look over and I see the car's on fire, so I just start recording," Snider said.
He snapped a video, but he didn’t realize he was capturing the moment an Amazon worker was stepping in to make a different kind of delivery.
"There's a lot of negativity out in the world right now, so it was good to see someone doing something good," Snider said.
