HUDSON, Ohio — It took Wadsworth two minutes to run eight plays and go 80 yards on the opening drive of the game, resulting in a 34-yard touchdown run from Cooper Gray.

That gave Wadsworth enough momentum to carry it throughout the night against Hudson. In fact, it was a night where the Grizzlies ran for nearly 300 yards to win 35-17 and take full control of the Suburban League National Conference.

The Grizzlies, 7-0 overall, 4-0 in the conference, are ranked seventh in this week’s cleveland.com Top 25. Hudson (5-2, 3-1), is ranked 13th.

“We played how we practiced, and we gave our best effort,” sophomore quarterback Brysen Hall said after the win. “Very violent and I love that.”
