OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - The Ocala police department says a crash occurred Saturday morning on the westbound lanes near the 4200 block of East Silver Springs Boulevard.

The crash involved a motorcycle and a car.

Police say the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

One lane is open, but delays are still expected.

The Ocala Police Department advises using alternate routes if possible.
