KENNER, La. —

Bonnabel High School in Kenner went into lockdown twice this week due to separate incidents.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office told WDSU that the first lockdown occurred Monday when school leaders alerted them about a trespasser on campus. The individual was arrested and charged. Advertisement

On Friday, another lockdown was put in place after a fight broke out between two students. No arrests were made, officials said.

"Law enforcement responded quickly and assisted school staff. Normal operations have since resumed," a Jefferson Parish Schools spokesperson said about the Friday incident.
