WASHINTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Washington County Historical Society will recognize two community members during its annual meeting at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at the Bailey Center at Mount Sequoyah in Fayetteville.

Former Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan and health care advocate Lou Reed Sharp will receive the 2025 Washington County Distinguished Citizen awards, according to a news release.
