SAN FRANCISCO — Foster Farms has recalled nearly 3.9 million pounds of corn dogs following reports of five injuries caused by 'pieces of wood' found in the batter, according to a health alert issued Saturday . This recall comes one week after other brands issued similar alerts .
The alert impacts poultry corn dog products produced between July 30, 2024 through August 4, 2025. Customers can identify the recalled product by finding the "establishment number" P-6137B on the packaging.
The corn dogs were shipped to retail and institutional locations nationwide, including Department of Defense and USDA Commodity Foods donations, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
Many of the products have not yet passed their "use by" date.
This alert
