SEATTLE -- Colt Keith will be the designated hitter for the Detroit Tigers on Saturday night.

The Tigers play Game 1 of the American League Division Series against the Seattle Mariners at 8:38 p.m. Eastern time at T-Mobile Park.

Keith finished the regular season on the injured list and wasn’t healthy enough to play in the Wild Card Series in Cleveland. He was added to the ALDS roster on Saturday .

In addition to Perez, catcher Jake Rogers; infielders Andy Ibanez and Trey Sweeney; and outfielder Jahmai Jones will be available off the bench. The full lineup is below.

On the mound, Tigers rookie right-hander Troy Melton (3-2, 2.76 ERA in the regular season) will face Mariners right-hander George Kirby (10-8, 4.21).

Kirby is 2-4 with a 7.48 ERA in six career starts against the Tigers.
