Michigan State quarterback Aidan Chiles certainly had a game he’ll want to forget.
The Spartans’ quarterback completed a career-low as a starter 39.1% of his passes against Nebraska on Saturday, fighting against strong winds, a deluge of pressure from the Cornhuskers and a brief exit in the middle of the game after taking a hit.
Through it all, Chiles remained a pain for Nebraska as coach Matt Rhule heaped praise on the second-year Spartan following the 38-27 defeat.
“Credit to Michigan State, I thought they played really hard,” Rhule said. “I thought their quarterback was magnificent while he was able to go.”
