TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A massive game in Tuscaloosa Saturday afternoon.

After the Tide’s stunning loss to Vanderbilt on the road in Nashville last year, Kalen DeBoer and his team are looking to get back on the winning side of things against the Commodores.

The Tide began the game with the ball first and were driving down the field nicely before they were stopped on 3rd down at the Vanderbilt 29-yard-line.

DeBoer could have elected to go with a field goal, but he decided to keep his offense on the field on 4th & 1..

However, Tide quarterback Ty Simpson threw his first interception of the year and Vanderbilt got the ball for the first time of the afternoon, and it didn’t take them long to score.
