Serious injuries have been reported in a crash on Route 6 in Brooklyn, Connecticut, on Saturday afternoon.

It happened at the intersection of Route 6 and Providence Road and both sides of the road are currently closed.

According to state police, serious injuries have been reported and the accident reconstruction team is responding to the scene.

Anyone in the area should find alternate routes. There's no estimate for the duration of the road closure.
