Carroll star Taylor Larkins capped her decorated career with one final highlight Saturday, shooting the low round of the day on Day 2 of the state golf finals with a 3-under 69 to finish in a tie for fifth in the individual standings.
Larkins, who placed ninth in 2024, was eight strokes back of repeat state champion Taylor Snively of Zionsville, who shot 71-70 for a 3-under 141. Larkins had an 80 in the opening round Friday Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel and finished at 5-over 149.
The Charger senior, who was the regional medalist in addition to her win in the Women's City tournament in July, collected five birdies in the final round of her high school career before she moves on to play collegiate golf at Ball State.
