The OU report card is a difficult assignment. How do you grade Scottie Scheffler on 18 holes at LaFortune Park? That’s what the Sooners faced against Kent State, likely the worst team in Division I-A. Actually, that’s not fair to LaFortune. But you know what I mean.
At least OU’s 44-0 rout of the Golden Flashes included Michael Hawkins’ season debut as the starting quarterback, in lieu of the injured John Mateer. Spoiler alert: Hawkins’ report card is the kind you don’t rush home to show your mother.
