NEWBURGH, Ind. (WEHT) -- One of the oldest charity haunted attractions in the US is now open in Warrick County.

It began in 1973 as a small haunted house and evolved into the Zombie Farm in the early 2000's. It has become the Newburgh civitans club's most recognized fundraiser. The Zombie Farm has supported the club's mission to serve individuals with developmental disabilities.

“A lot of people have been loving it, a lot of people actually love the maze,” director Jim Miller said. “They actually find it pretty terrifying, because you never know who's going to pop out. We've had, we've had quite a few just make a run from here down the hill to the car once they leave.”

The haunted house also offers no scare tours.
