Florida football's offensive momentum appeared sapped after its second drive vs. No. 7 Texas on Saturday, Oct. 4.
QB DJ Lagway entered the medical tent after the team's second drive of the game. On the drive, he pulled up after rolling out for a pass.
After a brief stint in the tent, Lagway returned and played the rest of the game. However, coach Billy Napier said postgame that Lagway played like he did towards the end of last season. The QB injured his hamstring vs. Georgia. While he missed just one game, he was hampered and immobile.
"I thought he was kind of back in that mode," Napier said.
The coach said "we'll know more" about his leg injury.
Lagway, though, painted a more positive picture. He called the injury "just a little something that happened during a play."
