Pubs across the UK are struggling amid rising costs and lower incomes.
Now, one pub owner has spoken out about the current crisis in the hospitality industry. Mark Collin, the owner of the Hare & Hounds pub in Rothwell, Leeds , has said the current economic climate for pubs and other hospitality businesses in the UK is "just not sustainable".
He said: "The hospitality sector is under massive strain at the moment. The government proudly announced over the last few years that national minimum wage has increased, which sounds great, but they don't have to pay it, they lump it onto the employer to do it whilst also increasing national insurance costs."
