Leeds United may have seen their 23-game unbeaten run at Elland Road ended by Tottenham Hotspur, but the players are convinced the ground can and will remain a fortress for the club this season.
Tottenham's 2-1 victory ended an unbeaten home record at Elland Road that stretched back a full year. A record 18 wins, five draws and 15 clean sheets in that run had helped Leeds win promotion last season and then get off to a good start this campaign.
They were not able to match that of Howard Wilkinson's 1991-92 side who boasted the previous longest run of 31 top-flight games, but despite surrendering a proud record, the immediate talk after the game was a confidence among the players that Leeds will remain very hard to beat at home this season.
