Leeds United’s 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday was made frustrating by the fact both of Spurs’ goals were deflected off Pascal Struijk’s leg amid a recent general bout of lack of fortune in matches.

The defeat means Leeds are having to look over their shoulder in the Premier League table yet will be pleased they have reached the second international break not in the bottom three. And even on Saturday there were some positives to take.
