MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - 14 people were shot in Montgomery on Saturday night, Oct. 4.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, the shooting took place around 11:30 p.m. near Bibb Street and Commerce Street.
Police say that 14 people were shot, two have died and three others have life-threatening injuries.
According to Montgomery Police Chief James Graboys, two groups opened fire on each other in the middle of a crowd.
Graboys called the shooting a “senseless act of violence.”
Police say that no arrests have been made but officers are interviewing witnesses as the investigation continues.
