MADISON (WKOW) -- New polling from Platform Communications finds no candidate has the support of a majority of their party in the race for governor. For the first time since 2010, the incumbent governor is not running, which means there's a wide-open primary in both parties.

The poll surveyed 500 people who are likely to vote in the general election in November 2026. They were asked about which candidate they support in the primary contests, how they feel about leaders in the Democratic and Republican parties and who they would vote for in a generic gubernatorial race.
