ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating after two people were hurt and one was killed in two shootings at South Carolina State University on Saturday.
South Carolina State University Department of Public Safety confirmed that their campus is on lockdown following two shootings Saturday night.
The reported gunshots came from Hugine Suites located on campus.
SC State Officials said two victims were taken to a local hospital. The first victim, a female guest of on campus later died.
The second victim, a male guest, was flown by helicopter to another hospital. His condition remains unknown.
A third guest on campus was also injured while running from the scene of the first shooting.
