ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash early Sunday, Oct. 5, after he collided with a truck, police said.

Speed does not appear to a factor in the crash, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called shortly before 1 a.m. to a report of a two-vehicle collision in Constantine Township.

Police said a 34-year-old Three Rivers man was operating a Yamaha motorcycle north on U.S. 131 when a Ford F-250 entered the intersection westbound on Riverside Drive, causing a crash.

The Three Rivers man was ejected from his motorcycle during the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a 40-year-old Mattawan man, was not injured.
