CINCINNATI – After playing through a shoulder injury the first month of the season, Taylor Decker is getting a rest.

The Detroit Lions made Decker inactive for today’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals after downgrading him to doubtful earlier in the day.

Decker has practiced sparingly this year because of an injury to the shoulder he had surgically repaired in the offseason. He missed all three practices last week and has been listed as “out” on 12 of the Lions ’ 15 actual or estimated practice reports this year, but has still played at a high level most of the season.
