NEW ELLENTON, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Atomic City Festival took place in New Ellenton on Saturday.

There was a car show with close to 100 cars and motorcycles, a petting zoo, live music and much more, showcasing the town and attractions around it.

The mayor gave credit to the town and firefighters for their hard work.

Coroner responds to lake in Wagener after cars crash into water

The Aiken County Coroner’s Office responded to Neeses Lake in Wagener after two cars crashed into the water.

“That’s a great show for our small town. We put on a wonderful fireworks show. Couldn’t do without our wonderful fire department in our streets and roads, so they keep everybody safe,” said Kimberly Williams.

There was a fireworks show Saturday evening as well.
