THOMSON, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - McDuffie County Coroner Paul Johnson has released the name of the driver who died in a single-vehicle accident.
72-year-old Arthur Alexander of Thomson died from his injuries sustained in the crash, according to the coroner’s office.
The accident occurred on the 400 block of East Hill Street around 2 p.m., where the 2018 Silverado truck he was driving left the roadway and rolled over, officials say.
Alexander was rushed to the ER, where he was pronounced at 2:51 p.m., the coroner’s office says.
No other injuries reported, and Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
