In the wake of the recent clash in Cuttack, member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Barabati-Cuttack Sofia Firdous expressed deep anguish over the incident and called for strict action against those responsible, while appealing to the people to maintain peace and harmony in the millennium city.

Speaking to the media, Firdous stated that the criminal mindset of a few miscreants had disturbed the city’s peace on the day of Maa Durga’s Bhasani, an event celebrated with communal harmony for centuries.
