We’re only three weeks away from the state cutoff on Oct. 25 and the next day is when the tournament is seeded.
What does that mean? These final three (or two) regular-season games for N.J.’s public schools will hold even more importance.
Week 6 could be looked at in three weeks as the week that made or broke one’s season. In the NJIC, it’s the last week before the conference playoffs. Plenty of big games are on the docket and it’ll set the stage for a fun remainder of the year.
And on the non-public front, it’s hard to look past the matchup in Montvale between Don Bosco Prep (5-0) and St. Joseph (Mont.) (4-1). The Non-Public A and B brackets are hand-picked by the NJSIAA following Week 9, but Saturday’s tilt will have a lot of say in the Non-Public A pecking order.
