CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Kalif Raymond took a nasty off-balance shot on a punt return in the first half.
And the Detroit Lions wide receiver and All-Pro punt returner has been downgraded from questionable to return to out. Raymond was hurt while returning a punt in the first half against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Lions say that Raymond’s injury is to his neck. Raymond was able to walk off the field with trainers after taking the big hit. But he was carted to the locker room not long after suffering the injury.
Raymond was the hero last week, with his 65-yard punt-return touchdown clinching the win for the Lions over the Cleveland Browns.
Rookie Isaac TeSlaa is seeing more snaps at receiver for the offense. And fellow rookie Dominic Lovett has taken over for Raymond on punt returns.
