CINCINNATI, Oh. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Despite a glimmer of hope in the fourth quarter, the Cincinnati Bengals ultimately fell to the Detroit Lions 37-24 and dropped their third straight game, slipping to 2-3 on the season. It was the first time the Lions have beat the Bengals since 1992.

Detroit held a commanding 28-3 lead heading into the fourth quarter, but the Bengals went on a late run, making it seem as though a comeback might be possible. Jake Browning connected two touchdown passes to cut the deficit to 28-17 with just over ten minutes remaining in the game. However, the Lions responded with another touchdown and a safety to put the game out of reach and secure the win.
