AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Leslie Broadhurst Raider Legacy Foundation hosted their first annual legacy scholarship fund charity golf tournament in honor of the late Leslie Broadhurst on Sunday afternoon out at the Preston West golf course.

Leslie Broadhurst was the head boys basketball coach at Randall High School for 36 years before retiring in May 2024, just months before he passed away from brain cancer at the age of 65.

During his time at Randall, he earned 701 victories and led the Raiders to back-to-back state tournament appearances in 2023 and 2024.

The Leslie Broadhurst Raider Legacy Foundation hosted Sunday’s tournament, allowing 29 teams of three to compete.
