WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - An 18-year-old man was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle early Sunday morning.

Police say first responders were called to Central and Hydraulic for the report of the crash.

When officers arrived, they found an overturned SUV with the 18-year-old trapped underneath. He was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries and later pronounced dead at 2:47 a.m.

Two other passengers inside the SUV were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The motorcyclist was also transported to a medical center for treatment.

Investigators determined that the SUV was heading west on Central when a motorcyclist traveling north on Hydraulic ran a red light. The motorcycle struck the SUV, causing it to lose control and overturn.
