English actor Charlie Hunnam has delivered his controversial opinion about the coffee in Melbourne, declaring a cup of brew in the city "sucks".
Hunnam, 45, spoke to ABC Melbourne on Saturday, where he unleashed on Australia as he promotes the Netflix series Monster: The Ed Gein Story, featuring the actor as the notorious Plainfield serial killer from the 1950s.
The Ed Gein Story is the third instalment of director Ryan Murphy's infamous Monster series, which previously delved into the lives of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer and parent killers the Menendez brothers.
Speaking to the public broadcaster's breakfast host Paul Verhoeven, Hunnam said Melbourne was one of his "favourite cities in the world, maybe my favourite city in the world" except for the coffee there.
