LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police says a man is in the hospital after being shot in the Portland neighborhood.
Officers responded to a call of a shooting near North 29th Street and Slevin Street at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5.
At the scene, police found a man who had been shot in the leg.
The victim was taken to UofL Hospital by EMS and is expected to survive.
Detectives are investigating to uncover what led up to the shooting and what a possible motive could be.
