TORRINGTON -- The Rawlins football team fell to 0-6 on the season after a 36-0 defeat to the Torrington Trailblazers Friday night.
Despite being shutout, it could arguably be looked at as the Outlaws' best game of the season so far. It was the fewest points the Rawlins defense has allowed all year and included a scoreless third quarter for their opponents.
In addition to the defense, the Outlaws had a strong running game, headlined primarily by Remington Mathill and Austin White. Though they were unable to score, the offense converted first down after first down, something they have struggled to do up to this point.
Chris Gonzalez was at the helm for Rawlins again despite not getting the starting quarterback job when the season began. He had a tough game in the pocket, being the victim
