ARIZONA Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray slammed his teammates for "bonehead mistakes" after a remarkable fourth quarter collapse.

Murray, 28, watched on in horror as the Cardinals threw away a 21-3 lead against the Tennessee Titans .

Arizona looked set for a routine Sunday afternoon against winless Tennessee at State Farm Stadium.

Three rushing touchdowns from Murray, Michael Carter and Zonovan Knight had put the hosts into a commanding lead.

But the game turned on a moment of madness from running back Emari Demercado, who broke free early in the fourth quarter.

The 26-year-old found a gap in the Titans defense and was clear for a touchdown.

As he reached the endzone, Demercado prematurely celebrated the score - and fumbled the ball on the goalline for a costly touchback.
