BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are possible today. High temperatures will reach to around 80 degrees.

HEAVY RAIN TOMORROW: Temperatures will cool back to near normal tomorrow with rain chances increasing. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are possible all day. Some thunderstorms could bring heavy rainfall that could lead to flash flooding especially in areas prone to flooding and in low lying areas.

FALL-LIKE WEATHER: Rain tapers off on Wednesday morning with cooler temperatures. High temperatures will only reach into the mid 70s for the second half of the week with dry conditions.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Temperatures warm up for the weekend back into the upper 70s with dry conditions and mostly sunny skies.
