WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A 22-year-old Wichita man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a runaway 14-year-old Kentucky girl last year.
The Sedgwick County district attorney's office said Samuel Loredo pleaded guilty on Friday to two counts of criminal sodomy and one count each of indecent liberties with a child, sexual exploitation of a child, and aggravated interference with parental custody. His sentencing is set for November 14.
Loredo previously pleaded not guilty to 11 counts and was scheduled for a jury trial on October 6.
The Wichita Police Department said police were contacted at around noon on Monday, November 18, 2024, by law enforcement in Murray, Kentucky, reporting that a 14-year-old runaway may be in Wichita. Officers responded to the 2300 block of North Woodlawn
