A pedestrian was hit by a bus in Boston on Monday morning, causing major traffic delays.
Boston police said they responded to a radio call for a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian near 774 Albany St. around 7:58 a.m. When they arrived, officers were informed that a bus had struck a pedestrian, who became trapped underneath the vehicle.

The person's condition was not immediately known, but police said detectives from the Homicide Unit and members of the Fatal Collision Team responded and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
