Senator Donnie Chesteen, R-Geneva, last Friday announced his endorsement of Rhett Marques in his campaign for Alabama’s 1st Congressional District, adding to the state lawmaker’s list of supporters including Senator Katie Britt, Speaker of the House Nathaniel Ledbetter and nearly three dozen Republican state lawmakers.

“Rhett Marques is a man of integrity who has accomplished a great deal in the Alabama legislature,” Chesteen, a resident of the congressional district, explained. “He is a conservative Republican who gets things done and I look forward to having him represent me, my family and all of the constituents in the 1st Congressional District in D.C.”
