All of the Kent Claire’s branches that are set to close have now been confirmed as the fashion and accessories chain looks to shut 145 stores nationwide.

Following its acquisition by investment firm Modella Capital, Claire’s presence on UK high streets has been largely saved after the firm purchased the bulk of its UK operations and assets.

Earlier this year in August, it was announced that the retailer had filed a formal notice to administrators from advisory firm Interpath before Modella swooped in to rescue the high street staple.

However, the transaction excluded 145 of Claire’s current outlets, placing approximately 1,000 positions in jeopardy.
