DUBUQUE, Iowa — The University of Dubuque is set to host the Dubuque POP-UP Festival: Kindness from 10:45 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Chalmers Field. This festival will gather around 700 attendees from the university, Dubuque Community School District, and the City of Dubuque, focusing on emotional intelligence and community connection. Approximately 300 second graders from the school district and over 300 UD Worldview students will engage in social-emotional learning activities. These will include art, games, and movement exercises led by about 100 UD students and over 30 city employee volunteers.
