“Saturday Night Live” made headlines when five stars left the show ahead of season 51, but cast shakeups are nothing new for the sketch comedy show.

One year before Devon Walker, Emil Wakim, Michael Longfellow , Heidi Gardner, and Ego Nwodim were part of SNL’s post-season 50 mass exodus, Chloe Troast was fired.

Troast, who appeared on season 49 of “SNL,” told People earlier this week that it was “really hard” adjusting to life after the show.

“You don’t get a cushion when you fall,” she told the outlet, noting that her family and close friends have helped with the transition. “Even before the show, they were the ones that were a guiding light, and so then that’s what I looked to after. And I feel like without that, I don’t know where I would be one year out, to be honest.”
