Augusta residents can expect a cold front to move in later in the week, bringing with it some autumnal seasonal weather typical for this time of year.
“Today we may have some isolated light showers on and off throughout the afternoon and into this evening,” said Chris Liscinsky, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Columbia, South Carolina. “We’ll see that continuing on and off throughout the day. Temperatures will warm up a bit more compared to yesterday.”
Liscinsky said the Augusta area is less likely to see any rain on Tuesday.
“We're going to be kind of between systems,” he said. “It should remain mostly dry, and it will be even warmer tomorrow. We're looking at highs tomorrow, generally in the mid-80s to about 86 down across the Savannah River area down there in Augus
