OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - On this day back in 2014, a second Ebola patient was flown to Omaha for treatment.

The special unit at Nebraska Medicine is one of only four hospitals in the United States capable of taking patients who could start devastating epidemics.

The staff in the unite received numerous awards for their courage and care of the Ebola patients.
